Creamy Italian Chicken

A delightful blend of flavor and comfort, this Creamy Italian Chicken recipe features tender chicken breast simmered in a rich, creamy sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Olive Garden Italian dressing
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz pasta of your choice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
  2. Add the dressing and cheeses: Pour the Italian dressing over the chicken, then sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and add the cream cheese on top. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Set the slow cooker: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  4. Cook the pasta: About 30 minutes before the chicken is done, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  5. Shred the chicken: Once the chicken is cooked, use two forks to shred it within the slow cooker, mixing it with the creamy sauce.
  6. Combine and serve: Add the cooked pasta to the slow cooker, stirring to combine. Serve warm, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.

Notes

Avoid using frozen chicken for even cooking. Consider marinating the chicken for a flavor boost. Adjust the sauce’s consistency with broth if necessary.
