Easy Chicken Noodle Casserole

A classic comfort food casserole featuring tender chicken, egg noodles, and a creamy sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. egg noodles, cooked until al dente
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 10.5 oz. can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup buttered bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Mix the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Combine the cooked egg noodles with the creamy chicken mixture.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Add the buttered breadcrumbs on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
