Halloween Shrunken Heads Pie

A delightful and spooky pie that combines sweet apples and tart cranberries, perfect for Halloween gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 3 large apples
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1 pie crust
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the apples by peeling, coring, and carving faces into them.
  3. Mix the cranberries, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and water in a medium bowl.
  4. Fill the pie crust with the cranberry mixture, spreading it evenly.
  5. Arrange the carved apple heads on top of the filling.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the apples are tender and the crust is golden.
  7. Cool the pie for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
