Pressure Cooker Chicken Tacos

Quick and flavorful chicken tacos made in a pressure cooker, perfect for easy weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Taco shells
  • Chopped lettuce (as desired)
  • Diced tomatoes (as desired)
  • Grated cheese (as desired)
  • Sour cream (as desired)
  • Avocado slices (as desired)
  • Salsa (as desired)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the pressure cooker.
  2. Add flavor: Pour in the chicken broth and sprinkle the taco seasoning evenly over the chicken.
  3. Cook under pressure: Close the lid securely and set the pressure cooker to high pressure. Cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Release pressure: After the cooking time is complete, carefully perform a quick release to vent the steam before opening the lid.
  5. Shred the chicken: Remove the chicken from the cooker and shred it using two forks.
  6. Assemble tacos: Fill taco shells with the shredded chicken and add your favorite toppings.

Notes

Use boneless, skinless chicken breasts for the best shredding results. Low-sodium chicken broth is recommended for flavor. Homemade taco seasoning can be used for a customizable spice blend.
