An easy and comforting crock pot dish featuring tender chicken, crispy bacon, and creamy ranch sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients: In a crock pot, add the chicken breasts, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir gently to combine.
  2. Cook the chicken: Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and easily shreds with a fork.
  3. Shred the chicken: Once cooked, remove the chicken and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the pot.
  4. Add pasta and bacon: Stir in the cooked pasta and crumbled bacon until everything is well mixed.
  5. Melt the cheese: Gradually stir in the shredded cheese until it’s melted and the pasta is creamy.
  6. Season: Taste and season with salt and pepper to your preference.
  7. Serve: Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley for a fresh finish.

Notes

For a creamier texture, use full-fat heavy cream. This dish can be customized with additional vegetables or different pasta shapes to suit your taste.
